Cowley Manor Experimental

Hotel

Taken over by the booming Experimental Group, Cowley Manor Experimental has been refurbished into an idyllic and stylish countryside resort in the Cotswolds. What used to be a private residence, is now home to 36 meticulously designed rooms by Experimental’s in-residence designer Dorothée Meilichzon. Upon entering, you’ll immediately catch a glimpse of the garden estate, as a backdrop to the hotel’s living and dining room. Then, you’ll walk out onto the terrace, recognising the idyllic pond, fountains and endless greens. Take a walk around the estate, following the narrow path to the left of the building, where you’ll see the pond running into a round-about river, with a swing nestled down between the trees – perfect to enjoy the views. The hotel’s spa on the other end of the estate features both an indoor and outdoor pool, as well as a sauna, steam room and more.

Perfect for: A summer lunch surrounded by nature, followed by a walk and sunbathing on the loungers.
