Grand Hotel Tremezzo
HotelOh Grand Hotel Tremezzo… orange-striped umbrellas, a pool with an unbeatable mountain backdrop, and arguably the most famous picturesque tennis court – we’ve all heard of it before. The hotel, which has been around since 1910 with a fair few renovations behind it, is well worth a visit if you’re residing on the lake. Have lunch at L’Escale – a water-front trattoria and wine bar with in our opinion, some of the best food we got to try during our visit. And oh, the ‘Cacio e Pepe’ pasta that the smart-dressed waiter prepares table-side, similar to the homemade ‘Tiramisu’. Make sure to leave enough time to stroll around the hotel’s premises – up to the main pool and gardens. For dinner, go for La Terazza Gualtiero Marchesi – fine dining truly at it’s finest.
