If you’re a lost New Yorker stranded in London or, simply a bagel enthusiast, head to It’s Bagels in Primrose Hill for the city’s finest. Let’s get out of the way that unless you show up right on opening hours (8am on weekdays, 7am on Saturdays and 9am on Sunday), there is likely to be a queue. However, we’re pleased to report that during prime time (Saturday 2pm), time flew by in what was a total of 30 mins queuing. Once you get over the wait, you’ll meet London’s best bagels. Choose between pre-selected options or create your own and choose from rainbow-coloured to ‘Pumpernickel’ loops. Sometimes simplicity is key, hence why ‘The Works’ bagel is 10/10. Most importantly, be selective with your spreads – from jalapeño to sun-dried tomato (after all, it’s all about the shmear).
