Passalacqua lives inside an 18th-century villa, which until recently was a privately-owned estate for the pleasures and entertainments of friends and family. When you enter, you’re immediately enchanted by the sound of fountains and sights of picturesque gardens. After a walk around the estate and a look at the lakeside tennis court (not to forget the jaw-dropping pool area) follow up with a lunch at the restaurant – where you’ll most likely feel like the place has been exclusively hired for you. Due to the hotel’s goal to remain as exclusive as possible, they won’t accept reservations at the restaurant from external guests over email or phone. However, if you are staying at a hotel they’re friendly with around the lake – your concierge will be able to sort it. If you’re lucky enough to spend a night here, you’ll find comfort in one of the 25 palazzo-style rooms.
