White Cliffs of Dover
DestinationThe White Cliffs of Dover are the most South-Eastern point of the English coastline, directly facing the shores of France. With its beautiful green cliffs and crystal-clear waters, this National Trust-protected area makes for an unbelievable hike and picnic spot. And, on a clear day, you’ll even be able to see the French coastline, which is less than 100km away (side note: your phone may even connect to a French provider and switch to Central European time). You’ll also spot vehicles driving in and out of the Eurotunnel.
Getting there: Roughy a 1.5-hour drive from Central London.
