How to spend a day at Wimbledon…

  • Arrive no later than 1pm to allow yourself enough time before the first match.
  • Wander around the premises and if you haven’t had breakfast, treat yourself to some Strawberries & Cream (after all, it wouldn’t be a day at Wimbledon without it). As lovely as Center Court seats are, glancing over the other courts and supporting some of the younger players can be exciting, too. So, leave enough time to stop by the other courts.
  • After the first match – head to your lunch reservation (depending on your ticket type, access to restaurants in the Debenture area or others will be granted). You’ll be able to continue watching the ongoing match from the restaurant’s various screens. Top tip: Make sure to pre-book your table, as even though the areas are secluded, the crowds can take over if you prefer your lunch at peak times.
  • If you need to walk it off, visit the Wimbledon branded shop for some souvenirs or head for a drink on the Debenture rooftop lounge, overlooking some of the courts.
  • Head back in time to enjoy the third match and take some drinks with you, if you wish. It’s good to remember that particularly the final match can last long into the evening, as late as 11pm. So if you’re in for some serious tennis, be ready for a late night – after all, Wimbledon is only once a year.
