Located inside the Shangri-La Singapore, Zeniya takes on the knowledge of its two Michelin-star flagship restaurant in Kanazawa. While usually, the word ‘Omakase’ (meaning ‘leave the details up to the chef’) would relate to sushi and handrolls, this style of Omakase relates to everything but, and includes a variety of different Japanese dishes. Our absolute favourite? The ‘Gohan with Sakureabi and Hotate’ – a crispy, fried rice with miniature shrimps and scallops. And of course, the ultra-fresh and simple Mango set for dessert, to clean the tasting palette.
